One question i have about my topic is why are guns legal in some places but yet in the constitution its perfectly legal so how would they go around that.

Monday, December 2, 2013

I am very interested to write about this topic because i believe that people are entitled to their own things since they purchase they weapons.

Monday, November 25, 2013

One background information that would help me get an overview on my topic would be articles stating why people want weapons in the first place but not from some one who doesn't own a weapon someone who like is pro gun control and someone who is against it.

When we had to write the research paper unfortunately I don't remember what the topic was on but I do remember that I enjoyed it because the Socratic seminars got pretty hectic since we were talking about controversial topics in class. One topic I remembered that we talked about was should abortion be legal in America. I choose yes because I feel you shouldn't be worried about what other people should do because you don't know their circumstance or situation that they face. People should be pro choose because in the end if you don't believe in abortions it shouldn't affect you in the slightest. And that was my argument in the Socratic seminar. After the seminar that related with the topic that I cant remember for the homework we were told to really think about it and choose a side and that was what the research paper was going to be on.

The first time I was assigned I research project was when I was in 11th grade and it was for the English 11. I didn't mind doing it because our teach Ms.Provosti basically gave us most of the research we could've used and  if we choose to do more research we were encouraged to do so. But it also wasn't a problem for me to do because it didn't require a lot since we had outlines and the fact that she helped us the whole time which was like baby stepping us in to doing the essay. Before starting the essay we were assigned to read nooks that were around our essay which was The great Gatsby, Fahrenheit 451, and other books we could've chosen to read about.

I think i know why people want to own guns , some people see it as a hobby to collect guns , or others just want to have it for protection for their homes. I know that some people want to own guns because they use them for sport and games which takes out the sensitivity towards guns.

I already knew how to make a blog so it wasn't that hard. Just changing the settings were difficult because i never had to change so many settings to make them private before.
