When we had to write the research paper unfortunately I don't remember what the topic was on but I do remember that I enjoyed it because the Socratic seminars got pretty hectic since we were talking about controversial topics in class. One topic I remembered that we talked about was should abortion be legal in America. I choose yes because I feel you shouldn't be worried about what other people should do because you don't know their circumstance or situation that they face. People should be pro choose because in the end if you don't believe in abortions it shouldn't affect you in the slightest. And that was my argument in the Socratic seminar. After the seminar that related with the topic that I cant remember for the homework we were told to really think about it and choose a side and that was what the research paper was going to be on.
